Ozark Valley Inn

Admittedly, this is an edge case, but we arrived to check in a little before 10pm to find the lobby totally closed. I guess that’s fine. Branson rolls up shop pretty early. The signage on the door said for after-hours check-in use the phone on the wall. There was no phone. We called the “emergency” number left on a sheet of paper taped to the window and spoke to a very nice man who works at a nearby (jointly-owned?) hotel about 10 minutes away. He drove over and got us our keys. The rooms are dated and the beds are basically bare spring mattresses, but it was clean and comfortable for the price. In the morning, we went to try the advertised “free hot breakfast,” and the listed hours were from 8:30am to 10:30am. When we arrived at 8:30 there was nobody in the breakfast room, no coffee, and no hot food of any kind, just a couple of assorted individually-wrapped muffins, some nutri-grain bars, and a bag of bagels. We waited around for a while in the hopes that someone would bring more food, but that didn’t happen, so we ended up leaving to eat at Silver Dollar City instead. Used to really like this place for the price, but something has changed, and seemingly not for the better.

The front lobby was not very inviting, it just looked like something had been thrown together, behind the front desk was a mess. I found a roach in my room and the towels were clean but awful. I didn't attempt to try and eat there because of what I found in my room.

I have always stayed here whenever I went to Branson . After a two year break we went back and this hotel was nothing like before. When we check in they gave us real keys because the card readers were not working. Breakfast was a huge disappointment. It was just store brought snack food. When we checked out we were told they had new owners.

This used to be our favorite place to stay in Branson, but not any more. There was never anyone at the front desk. We stopped by twice during our stay and no one was there. There wasn’t even anyone there when we tried to check out at 9:00am this morning. No phone or alarm clock in the room, didn’t have the password for wifi, beds weren’t that comfortable and didn’t even try the breakfast. Almost empty place. Highly unlikely that we’ll stay here again.

I believe we stayed in the off season so no breakfast was offered. Only there 1 night. The unit 201 was very clean, comfortable, quiet. The bonus is: Pet friendly (yay and thank you!) and the outside lighting (at night) extremely well Illuminated. Kudos!

Office lights were off and nobody was there to check us in. Ended up leaving and found a different hotel.

We were not happy with this hotel at all, they said they offered a breakfast and after we checked in on 12/29/23 the next day the office was closed, we waitied outside in the cold for breakfast. We never saw anyone in the office after we checked in. If we needed someone we would have been in trouble. When we went to check out I couldn't even do that, I had to go back to the room and leave the room cards on the dresser. We were close to running out of toilet paper, and towels. We picked this place because of the reviews, the pictures and it having a hot breakfast. We have spent about an extra 100.00 dollars on breakfast for the time we stayed there. I have called the place 3 times alreadt to tell someone where I left the room cards. We have traveled for 40 years being married and have never been so DISAPPOINTED in a hotel. We are also hosting an exchange daughter from France and this was very embarrassing. Can you please do something on your end about this hotel please. It’s was not bad, but not great. The lady at front desk had a hard time finding our reservation. She ended up finding it so it worked out. She started laughing randomly when giving me the room cards. So that was odd… The room was okay. The mattresses were terrible. Every movement you could feel the springs and hear them. It left our backs sore. But it is what it is. It was exactly what you’d expect from a cheaper hotel room just for a place to sleep. I personally don’t plan on staying here again, but I’m not upset that I did either. The area was convenient.

Hotel needs updating. It appeared there was newish flooring in the room, and the price were the only positives for the place. The room looked like the ceiling might collapse if someone stomped too hard upstairs. The tub was very stained along with the sink. Bed was awful a frame and a combo box spring matress. Breakfast was not available.
